We came to Tokyo for a work trip and had to find some souffle pancakes. We came across Flippers and planned accordingly. Good thing! We arrived 30 mins before opening based on other reviews. We were the 2nd party in line. When we were seated, the tables weren't too close together. Note: there's only one bathroom. We ordered the plain pancakes and special Melody pancakes, side of sausage. The pancakes took about 30 mins to cook after ordering, so take that into account. They were so fluffy and light! The fruit was a nice addition to the Melody pancakes. Plain was good to try as is. Definitely worth trying if you're in Tokyo!

We got the number one soufflé pancakes with strawberries. Very fluffy and pretty sweet. Would have loved to try the other flavors - maybe some that would be more bitter. Came at the end of the day and the wait was 10-15 min

Wanted to try Flippers in Japan this time around since it was walking distance near my Airbnb. Arrived around 10am and there was already a line. It took about 30 minutes of waiting. They give menus for you to view once you're near the entrance. There was the Flippers x Cinnamoroll/My Melody collab when I was there on 2/7. I got to to try the Cinnamoroll one that tasted subtly of apples and their lemon one with lemon gelato. 100% enjoyed their soufflé pancakes. Great presentation and taste. There is a single gender neutral restroom. Staff is friendly and can communicate English.

There has been a lot of hype around soufflé pancakes for a long time and I finally understand why. This is my first time having them so I'm not sure if this is the best place to get them, but either way these pancakes exceeded my expectations. What really knocked it out of the park for me was not the fact that they were super fluffy (which they are), but the fact that these pancakes were not super sweet. In fact, they taste more eggy than anything and just ever so slightly sweet. The sweetness more so comes from the whipped cream on top. It made the whole thing so easy to eat and could even win over those who prefer a savory breakfast. The only caveat is that there is a wait, so I suggest bringing a friend to keep you company. Otherwise, I think the popularity of soufflé pancakes is warranted and is a must try if you're in Japan. Note: during February 2025, they have a limited edition My Melody collab. It's very cute but it is much sweeter than the regular strawberry pancakes.

I have been wanting to try soufflé pancakes for a long time now and found out about Flipper's through Trip Advisor. I showed up around 30 mins before opening and was the first in line. By the time the restaurant opened, the line was wrapped around the front of the store. I ordered the kiwi juice, orange juice, and fresh fruit soufflé pancakes. The juices were small, so I was able to enjoy both juices without any problem. They each tasted freshly squeezed or pressed and were the perfect sweetness. The pancakes were very light and fluffy. The maple whipped cream was also the perfect sweetness and the pancakes and fruit didn't need any extra syrup or sugar. Flipper's is a great treat and I wouldn't hesitate having breakfast here again.

This place was on my list to visit! My brother and I got there around 30 minutes after they opened and we only waited 30 mins to get in. You order when you get to the front of the line. There's one bathroom. It's very bright and light inside. We got: - salmon salad: not that big of a portion but I was craving a salad so I wanted to get it regardless - strawberry pancakes: these were so good and the sweet butter it came with was amazing - apple cinnamon pancakes: these were definitely more of a dessert and even came with ice cream!
